Welcome to the all-new "Rants" section of Jademyst.com. I decided to add this section mainly because I am a rather opinionated wench, and every so often, I have an overwhelming need to air said opinion where other people may see and respond to it. I'm sure I'm not the only person in the world with such a need, either, which is why this section is open to anyone and everyone who would like to contribute their two cents. Think of this section as being similar to the op-ed section of a newspaper, except here you can find commentary on just about anything.

Personally, my rants will most likely involve (but will not be limited to) the following topics:

• Sports--one of my favorite subjects; expect lots of talk about baseball (GO YANKEES! WOOOOOOO!), football, basketball, etc., as well as issues such as Title IX (love it), women members at Augusta National (long overdue) and why the sentence "LeBron James' mother gave him a Hummer for his birthday." is a loaded statement in more ways than one.
  
• Politics--I'm a registered Independent; I don't trust anybody.
  
• Entertainment--or why there's nothing real about reality TV.
  
• Life--I'm a 40-year-old wife and mother, get ready to see the world from my point of view.
