The Doppler Shift
Is the phenomenon by which
A star,
When drawing closer to you,
Turns red.
When a star pulls away
It shifts blue.
The brighter red I turn
The deeper your blue becomes.
Why do you feel repelled
By everything you seek?
Why do you push away
Everything that seeks only to be drawn
Into your orbital embrace?
You may not always hurt the ones you love
But why must you hurt the ones that love you?
