FAQ

  • What is Jademyst.com?

Jademyst.com is a site that displays literary works for people to enjoy.
    We have five categories:

    • Fiction: stories on a variety of subjects; some are works in progress, some are complete, all are entertaining.
    • Non-Fiction: same as fiction, only true to life.
    • Poetry: rhyming, non-rhyming; it's all good
    • Essays: people with something to say, and a damn good way of saying it.
    • Rants: similar to essays, only a lot less formal at times.

We also have a public forum, The Literary Review, where readers can post their opinions on the submitted works and suggestions/comments on the site itself.

  • Can I write for Jademyst.com?

Everyone is welcome to submit literary works to Jademyst.com; barring extreme exceptions (pornographic material, etc.), it will most likely be displayed.

  • I've written a poem/story/essay/rant; how do I submit it?

Simply click on the "submissions" link on the index page.
    Please include the following information:

    • Category (Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry, Essays, Rants) where you want your work to appear
    • Name of Author (you may use a pseudonym if you prefer)
    • Email Address where you wish to receive reader feedback

You will receive a confirmation email of your submission, and a notification when it is on display.

  • Does my submission need to be in HTML form?

No, it doesn't. Anything submitted in plain text will be converted to HTML before it is displayed, so there's no problem.

  • Who do I contact for more information?

You can contact Jade with any questions or comments by e-mail.

All Jademyst.com submissions displayed are the legal property of their respective authors, and as such cannot be duplicated without permisssion of the author.
In other words, plagiarism=bad; either write your own stuff or ask the author if you can use this.
